Being Atheist

Recently, I've begun thinking of myself as an atheist. Overtly, the reason is that evolution gives a much better explanation of life than God, but I think the real reason is the amount of politiking, inefficiency, pure ineptitude, the sheer amount of human failure present in the people that call themselves Catholic. It just seems clear to me that if God were real, Catholics will be better administrators, clergyman, Christians, or humans than they are now.

So why don't I try other religions? Because I believe that if God exists, the Catholic church is THE religion - ironically because it has such a clear understanding of human failure.
